Through our dedicated efforts, we aspire to bridge the gap of food inequality, starting with underserved communities in the United States and extending our impact globally. Our vision is a beacon of hope, illuminating the path towards a future where every person can fulfill their potential with the nourishment they deserve.

Our Story

Founded in 2022 by the visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist Marc Villain, Season with Purpose is a dynamic charity with a profound mission to revolutionize the accessibility of nutritious food in underserved communities. Marc, the driving force behind our cause, also serves as the owner of the spice company "Villain Republic," a venture committed to donating 100% of its profits to initiatives aligned with Season With Purpose.

Our journey began when Marc, inspired by a commitment to social responsibility, volunteered at local elementary schools. It was during these experiences that he witnessed the alarming inadequacy of nutrition in school lunch programs, particularly in public schools. Recognizing the detrimental impact on children's health and growth, Marc resolved to address this pressing issue.

Drawing from his extensive involvement in the food industry through Villain Republic, Marc had firsthand exposure to the challenges faced by soup kitchens and meal programs for the unhoused and underprivileged. Despite their vital role in providing sustenance, these programs often prioritized quantity over quality, neglecting the essential nutritional needs of those they served.

With a deep understanding of California's agricultural abundance and a network of connections with farmers, Marc initiated a groundbreaking approach. Season with Purpose became the conduit between farmers and soup kitchens, facilitating the donation of surplus produce to enhance the nutritional value of meals provided. Yet, Marc's vision extends beyond being a mere intermediary; we are actively working to establish our own farms, closing the loop and ensuring a sustainable source of nutritious food.
